New operational models for advancing regional competence

The project aims to find solutions to the demands of a rapidly changing operational environment to ensure that the region continues to have employees and skilled professionals in the future. Solving this challenge requires diverse, work-life-oriented, and flexible training opportunities suitable for different target groups. This is promoted through development work within the project, which focuses on enhancing the competence of the staff of educational institutions and network actors, changing operational models and culture, and designing and piloting training that meets the needs of the business sector. Ensuring the availability of a skilled workforce and raising the level of competence are crucial for strengthening growth and vitality, and continuous learning driven by the needs of companies must be supported. The project’s goal is to develop flexible and work-life-oriented training solutions that meet the needs of a changing operational environment and labour market. The aim is to improve the quality, availability, and attractiveness of education according to local and regional needs, to bring new skills to the workforce, raise the level of competence, and support continuous learning driven by the needs of companies.
