Valuable data to use

The main goal of the project is to increase the knowledge of data utilization in the welfare sectors of South Karelia and Päijät-Häme and thus create new business methods for the regions. n terms of technology, the information obtained from the data could already be utilized much more than at present also in micro and SME companies. Guidance and enthusiasm are still needed to develop skills and find opportunities for utilization. Data analytics can be used to improve business opportunities and increase companies' resilience. The goal of the Valuable Data for Use project is to increase the use of data analytics and to understand its business significance by offering creative examples of application targets and teaching the basics of data analytics. In addition, the goal is to create networks where companies working on the same challenges can get support from each other and get to know service providers at a low threshold.a Päijät-Häme's knowledge of utilizing data from the welfare sectors and thus create new business methods for the regions. The project organizes a series of webinars, where experts in the field are used as speakers and trainers, targeting topics and examples to different industries to give practical tips. In addition, a course aimed at micro and SME companies is being built, which can be completed flexibly. Participants have the opportunity to complete the entire training or the parts of it they want. As a result of the project, awareness and know-how about the utilization of data and its uses will increase and the threshold will be lowered. Companies understand the benefits of data analytics in managing with information and growing the business.
