The goal of the project is to implement and evaluate the generic responsible recruitment model created in the "To become an employee of the Wellbeing services county of Kainuu from around the world" project for the well-being county of Kainuu. The project aims to coach units receiving foreign workers in orienting and supporting employees from different cultures. The project supports foreign recruits in starting and integrating into the region. It contributes to the well-being, productivity, and diversity of the units involved. The project involves experimenting with and evaluating the support model, making any necessary improvements. The project strengthens support networks for integration in the region and creates a joint recruitment network with employers in other sectors. Through project communication, positive attitudes toward the integration of foreign workers are promoted. The project also collaborates with local educational institutions to legalize the professional qualifications of internationally recruited individuals. As a result of the project, there will be a responsible international recruitment process in the Wellbeing county of Kainuu. This facilitates the integration of workers and their families from abroad into Kainuu. The labor shortage in the region is alleviated, and the vitality of the area is increased. The recruitment model is available for developing recruitment activities in other Wellbeing counties of the Northern Collaboration Area.
