In this project, Jamk and its partners and actors in the building and building services sectors work together to strengthen the competence of the management and personnel of the construction and building services sectors in proactively supporting work ability, well-being at work and promoting work productivity. The main objective of the project is to increase the awareness and competence of management and staff in the construction and building services sector regarding work ability management and support methods, as well as new technological solutions to lighten work and improve productivity.” The implementation of the project is divided into the following work packages: Work package 1: Promoting work ability and productivity in the construction and building services sectors through co-creation Work package 2: Putting into practice ways to increase the skills of management and personnel Work package 3: Experimental development: Testing new working methods and tools during pilot phases Work package 4: Knowledge Sharing: Communication and Increasing Impact The starting point is that thanks to new tools and ergonomic working methods, as well as the digital learning environment produced in the project, the workload will be reduced and occupational safety will improve in construction and building services tasks. This streamlines work and increases productivity. When physical, mental and social stress factors as well as work development and work ability management can be influenced, it can be assumed that sickness absences will decrease, work ability will improve and, in the long term, careers will be extended. The actual target group of the project is immediate supervisors, senior and middle management, human resources and personnel, including employees of different ages, women, the elderly, people with a foreign background and people with partial work ability, working in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and other organisations in the construction and building services sector. In addition, well-being at work at workplaces is coordinated by parties and representatives of the occupational safety and health organisation, human resources administration, occupational health care and other health care actors working with them.
