The objective of the TalentTrekFinland project is to promote the integration of international experts and students into the Finnish labor market. The project supports solving the labor market mismatch and improving the availability of workforce. The project is coordinated by Educational Consoirtium OSAO. The co-implementers are Oamk, the Language Center Lingua of the University of Oulu, the Oulu Chamber of Commerce, KAO, Jedu, KSAK, Brahe, Kpedu, and Tredu. The target groups include international students already in Finland, foreigners living in Finland with a degree but not employed, international experts already working, as well as companies and employers. The project is divided into four work packages: WP1 Project management, communication and dissemination WP2 Promoting the receptiveness of labour market & Employment of international experts and students WP3 Improving regional retention WP4 Increasing readiness of vocational education providers and developing structures to promote the integration of international students The project will result in new solutions and models to promote the employment of international students and experts. The receptivity and retention of the labor market will improve. The cooperation between companies and educational institutions will intensify. In the long term, the project will enhance the integration of international students and experts into Finland, supporting the growth and competitiveness of Finland’s economy.
