"Aizpute Park - Green Co-working Space"

Brīvzemnieks Boulevard 8, Aizpute, project – ‘Aizpute Park-Green Co-working Space’ development. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to improve the public outdoor space in the territory of the park at 8 Brīvzemnieks Boulevard, Aizpute. The park is by definition an aesthetic greened natural area in its natural or man-made form. At the moment in Aizpute city there are separate green areas or naturally formed green areas in the city environment, but there is no park for the inhabitants of the city. Therefore, as part of the project ‘Aizputes parks-green co-creation space’, it is planned to create not only a park, but a green co-creation space where people gather, relax and create. The green co-creation space will be freely available for public use for all population groups, taking into account aspects of functionality, including environmental accessibility and aesthetics. Within the framework of the project, existing underground communications will be rebuilt, existing natural elements will be preserved and improved, pedestrian roads and lighting of the territory will be built to ensure pedestrian safety. After landscaping the territory, it will become a public green co-creation space and a recreation place for residents of the city, Kurzeme region and other guests, providing an area of cognition, recreation and recreation. The project will be implemented taking into account aspects of functionality, including environmental accessibility and aesthetics, combining and integrating green solutions. Main activities planned in the project: Environmental improvement, creation of greenery; Reconstruction of non-functioning underground communications; Improvement of the green area (pedestrian paths, greenery with green solutions, installation of lighting, installation of benches and waste bins, etc.) 2 green classes ensuring a more diverse and interesting learning process for students of Aizpute Secondary School; Construction of pedestrian pavement along Brīvzemnieks Boulevard improves traffic safety in both directions of pedestrian flow. The total budget of the project is EUR 258821.81, of which 84.88% or EUR 219 687.95 is planned for European Union funding and 15.12% or EUR 39133.86 is planned for municipal funding. If unexpected extra-project costs arise during the implementation of the project, they will be covered from the municipal budget. The total project implementation time from the moment of conclusion of the contract is planned to be 12 months.
