The aim of the project is to participate in international education researches and programmes implemented by international organisations for the development of education policy and evaluation of policy implementation and impact, as well as for the development and provision of education quality monitoring system. The activities planned in the project will ensure participation of Latvia in eight cycles of international education research: 1. the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's International Student Skills Assessment Programme OECD PISA 2025; 2. OECD TALIS 2024, International Study on Learning Environment, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; 3. International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement, International Trends in Mathematics and Natural Science Education, IEA TIMSS 2023; 4. International Literacy Assessment Study by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement IEA PIRLS 2026; 5. International Computer and Information Literacy Studies IEA ICILS 2023 and IEA ICILS 2028 of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (here are two study cycles); 6. OECD PIAAC 2022?2023, Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competences of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; 7. International Civic Education Study IEA ICCS 2027 Three international education research programmes: 8. the OECD INES Education Systems Indicator Programme of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; 9. the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's Education Research and Innovation Centre's work programme OECD CERI; 10. the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture’s Education Indicators and Targets Permanent Group programme in EC SGIB; Similarly, the Project provides for the provision of secondary research on the following eight study cycles: 1. OECD PISA 2022; 2. OECD TALIS 2024; 3. OECD PIAAC 2022-2023; 4. IEA PIRLS 2021; 5. IEA TIMSS 2019 and IEA TIMSS 2023; 6. IEA ICILS 2023; 7. IEA ICCS 2022. The total eligible funding available for the project for the conclusion of the agreement is EUR 5 776 088, including EUR 4 909 674 from the European Social Fund Plus and EUR 866 414 from the State budget.
