The aim of the project is to provide the public and institutions with timely, high-quality and comprehensive information on changes in the state of the environment, developing the operation of the State environmental monitoring and control system and implementing systematic, regular and targeted observations and measurements of the state of the environment. To achieve this goal, investments will be made in environmental monotoring and control system equipment: expanding the hydrological monitoring network with 6 new flow-through sensors; upgrading10 underground water monitoring stations; extending the atmospheric air quality network to 8 new stations; ensuring measurements of atmospheric air radioactivity by modernising 23 radiation monitoring stations (incl. 20 stationary air stations, 2 water stations and 1 air mobile station) and creating 1 new station. providing air aerosol radioactivity monitoring, installing air aerosol radioactivity monitoring equipment. creating an air quality modelling tool.
