Unfavorable geodynamic processes(collapses,erosions,abrasions,etc.) are one of the significant natural disasters in Bulgaria,as a conseq. of climate changes. As a result of this and in particular in the country,a large number of sections of the NR Network are observed,affected by unfavorable geodynamic processes, which act spont. and destructively and lead to catastrophic situations,endanger the life and health of people, the security of populated areas, destroy residential, commercial, indust. buildings, cultural values, cut off roads,railways,water pipes and other infrastructure, destroy agricultural and forest areas, worsen the components of the environment. The objects of the current project proposal are defined as non-delayed based on prioritization of objects by the NRN according to criteria assessing the level of danger, the expected number of people in the area who will be affected, the area of the geodynamic process, etc. The project proposal includes 6 sections that are in the prioritized list of objects of the RIA, prepared in accordance with the "Methodology for prioritizing a list of objects with unfavorable geodynamic processes (landslides, collapses, erosions, abrasions) under the NRN, with which the RIA will apply for funding under the "Environment 2021-2027" program. (Application1). The projects aim at the implementation of activities to strengthen and permanently stabilize the roadway on road III-662 "Tvarditsa-Elena" in the sections from km 38+372 to km 38+392, from km 39+168 to km 39+208, from km 40+126 to km 40+136, from km 40+225 to km 40+285, from km 40+550 to km 40+630 and from km 41+115 to km 41+135. For this purpose for each section are made geology and hydrogeology studies and variant solutions with types of retaining structures. After conducting expert technical council in RIA, a type of retaining structure were selected for each section. Additionally, measures will be taken to drain and remove surface water outside the affected areas.
