Project ‘I choose Bulgaria-Component 1’ responds to the ever-increasing demand for labour and the need to make targeted efforts and take action to attract a workforce with appropriate labour characteristics to Bulgaria. The aim of the project is to stimulate the permanent establishment in Bulgaria of Bulgarian citizens, people of Bulgarian origin and people exercising the right of free movement of workers in Bulgaria who are nationals of another EU Member State, a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation or nationals of third countries. For this purpose, the project envisages the implementation of the following activities: 1. Development of a program to stimulate permanent establishment in Bulgaria. 2. Provision of services for access to the labour market of persons applying for a job in Bulgaria. 3. Providing assistance for moving furniture, as well as a supplement for accommodation for a period of up to 12 m. 4. Facilitate integration in Bulgaria by providing Bulgarian language training. 5. Providing incentives for transport (transport allowance) to and from the workplace in Bulgaria for a period of up to 12 m. 6. Payment of one-off incentives after 6-month employment and after 12-month employment in Bulgaria to the target group. 7. Establishment of a National Information Portal containing aggregated information to serve persons interested in establishing themselves in Bulgaria. 8. Conducting information campaigns. The planned project activities are aimed at supporting the mobility of people from the target groups in order to include them in the labor market in Bulgaria, as well as providing comprehensive support for full social and professional integration in both society and the labor market. The project will involve a total of 870 people from the target groups, of which a total of 740 participants will be in employment in Bulgaria for a period of 6 months.
