This project proposal includes the implementation of the following activities: development and application of "green" work organization models according to the specifics of particular workplaces at the companies; preparation of "green" maps for the work processes organization at the specific workplaces; training target group staff aimed at implementing "green" work organization models and providing collective protective measures, including modernization and/or reconstruction, and/or ensuring the safety of current sites, technological processes, machines and equipment related to improving labor conditions through buying a proximity and collision avoidance system. The activity of developing and applying green models at Asarel-Medet JSC will pass through the required stages for its implementation. The implemented "green" models of organization of work processes at the company will contribute to its establishment as a "green" company, supporting the transition towards a climate-neutral economy. The activity of providing collective protective equipment includes purchasing an overall proximity and collision avoidance system for main and auxiliary equipment. It is aimed at workers whose jobs are within the Asarel Mine Department. The system is planned to cover 74 mining machines and specialized vehicles. By commissioning the system, the risks from entering hazardous areas in the pit and any incidents causing material damage to the mining equipment or injuries to the employees working in the Asarel Mine will be minimized. Employees of Asarel-Medet JSC who represent the project target group will be 283 covered within the project framework. The planned project duration is 18 months. The total project budget amount is 1,6 million BGN out of which 391 thousand BGN is the requested grant.
