Next-Gen-BIoTechEDIH project intends to coordinate and drive digital and green transformation in the biotech and bio-based industries in Bulgaria South-Center region, both for SMEs, Mid-caps, as well as for other interested public and private entities. Training and skills development, support to find investment, transfer technology will all be part of the focus service packages, focusing on smart regional areas of specialization. Given the presence of technology, education, and research providers and beneficiaries within the partnership, Next-Gen-BIoTechEDIH aspires to become a regional, national, and international reference hub for high-quality services.The EDIH have a vision and technological focus on AI and Robotics, and Sensors. Next-Gen-BIoTechEDIH aims at promoting the widespread adoption of digital technologies, with a specific focus on 1)Industry 4.0, 2)Internet of things (IoT), 3) HPC, 4) High-level Digital Skills and Wide use of technology in all areas of the economy and public life to SMEs, MidCaps, the public sector. The Hub to be supported in their digital and green transformation and adopting circular business model, in line with present challenges. Next-Gen-BIoTchEDIH will also act as an access point to the European network of EDIHs, helping local SMEs and public authorities get the needed support in all cases with a wide EDIH network. It is our great interest to be part of a suitable European network (EDIH Corridor) with other EDIHs, interested primarily to all relevant topics. The project proposal will contribute to the development and strengthening of research and innovation capacity and implementation of advanced technologies, specific objective (RSO1.1) of the current call. A coordinated approach to ECIH work across the national and EU network will be achieved and capacity will be built in HPC, AI, Cyber Security and Trust, deep digital skills and deployment and best use of digital capacity and interoperability.
