The realization of the present project is aimed at the reconstruction and modernization of the old breakwater of Burgas, which as a result of the years has a highly compromised and damaged structure due to a number of external factors, mainly natural phenomena such as strong winds, large waves and damaged armoring of artificial elements. The reconstruction and modernization of the Burgas port breakwater, as part of the port infrastructure, will contribute to ensuring the safety of navigation, port services and port facilities. Through the implementation of the project, the main function of the breakwater will be guaranteed, as well as additional functions related to the implementation of public pedestrian access in a new area of the facility. The scope of the project includes the implementation of the following activities: Activity 1: Construction works for the rehabilitation of the breakwater in the port of Burgas. Activity 2: Supervision of the execution of works for the rehabilitation of the breakwater in the port of Burgas. Activity 3: Information and communication. Activity 4: Technical assistance and project management. The project implementation period is 38 months. The starting date of the project is 25.09.2024 - the approximate date of the publication of the public tender for the selection of a contractor with the subject "Rehabilitation of Breakwater in the Port of Burgas".
