The project includes consulting services for the analysis and preparation of a project: "Development and implementation of the IAIS MarTaSS, as well as the preparation of documentation on the PPA and assistance of the EAMA in the selection of an offer for the implementation of the MarTaSS project". The last will apply for funding under Priority 3 of PTS 2021-2027. The MarTaSS project will contribute to the prevention of marine environment pollution and the exercise of general control over shipping in the maritime spaces of the Republic of Bulgaria. The future information system for monitoring and controlling ship traffic in the territorial sea zone and the exclusive economic zone of Bulgaria is planned to be built on a modular basis and to allow integration with the already established or to be established information and surveillance systems in shipping, including the digital services of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). At the moment the integrated maritime surveillance system - INBULMARS - has been implemented, EAMA has also developed and implemented the SafeSeaNet system, which functions are related to data on dangerous goods, results of ship inspections and information related to ship and cargo waste. In addition to the above information systems, the future safety and sustainability system for maritime transport should also exchange data with the monitoring systems of the Port Infrastructure Company, the monitoring systems and databases of EMSA and the EU's Common Information Sharing Environment - CISE. EAMA has developed a project proposal with the subject: "Development and implementation of IIS for coordination and management in real-time of disaster and accident response operations in the BMRSRR”,which also will be implemented in the new program period of PTS 2021-2027, which is why the system MarTaSS will be built on a modular basis, with the aim of integrating information from different sources and sensors. The project will start m.07.2024.
