In the current project proposal, MULTITEST Ltd. envisages the development of an innovative automated multimodal comparator system for calibration and evaluation of the structure-determining mechanical characteristics of materials. To date, Multitest Ltd. has conducted scientific research and has technology validated in a relevant environment (TRL 5). The development of prototypes and their testing in a relevant and operational environment is envisaged for the creation of the innovative product, which is an automated multimodal material test bench by torsion to failure, as well as in the area of torque calibration. The information obtained from the tests will be used to assess the resource of the industrial systems and equipment, in the process of their operation in order to extend their life cycle. The existing national and international control technologies do not allow control and evaluation of the twisting moments of the materials, as well as recording in real time the moment of destruction of the materials. Globally, the mechanical effects on materials, products and equipment during their operation during twisting have not been sufficiently studied. This is a result of the fact that laboratories perform either only material tests or calibration. The activities envisaged in the project are research in the category "Experimental development" in the thematic area "Mechatronics and microelectronics", sub-area "Engineering, reengineering and life cycle extension of industrial machines, devices and systems based on the platform "Industry 4.0" and digitization and digital transformation of industrial production". It is planned to submit an application for a patent for an invention to the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria for the developed product with technological readiness level 9 Tested system in an operational environment. Specialists and specialized equipment will be used to perform the activities.
