With this project proposal, Multitest OOD will implement an innovative "Ultrasonic System for Pipe Layer Control", which is the company's own development together with the Institute of Mechanics - BAS and is protected by a patent. The innovation that will be implemented within the project is an innovative product, representing a system for performing automated ultrasonic control of pipelines, gas pipelines and structures and evaluating their mechanical stress state while monitoring their structural integrity in order to extend the life cycle of industrial systems. As a result of the implemented innovative system in the enterprise, it will diversify its services and implement product innovation - services for performing non-destructive control for stratification and imperfections of metal products and evaluation of their mechanical stress state. The innovation planned for implementation is within the framework of the thematic area "Mechatronics and microelectronics" of the Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization 2021-2027 (ISIS 2021-2027). In order to implement the innovation, MULTITEST OOD will invest in an ultrasonic flaw detector working on the principle of phased arrays. The expected result of the project support is an increase in the innovation capacity and competitiveness of MULTITEST OOD. The project will contribute to an increase in the share of enterprises implementing product innovations or business process innovations in the thematic areas of ISIS 2021-2027.
