The project proposal envisages the implementation of the following measures: Implementation of a set of measures for energy efficiency and sustainable renovation of the administrative building of the National Revenue Agency (Blagoevgrad, 2 Gyorche Petrov St.) and green urban infrastructure, including energy efficiency measures and sustainable renovation, through which energy consumption class "A" will be achieved, along with at least a 30% reduction in direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions compared to the previous emissions of the NRA's administrative building located at 2 Gyorche Petrov St., Blagoevgrad. An integrated element for green urban infrastructure will also be implemented—a "green terrace," secured on the side of the adjacent park area with a green wall featuring a freestanding extension, which will serve as a barrier and green shield against fine particulate matter. Innovative sustainable benches for recreation will also be installed. Implementation of measures for green urban infrastructure—sustainable renovation and enhancement of the park area and sidewalks adjacent to the NRA’s administrative building, Blagoevgrad Office. The adjacent area to the building—the park space—will represent a designated urban relaxation zone, and the children's playground within the park space will be renovated. The sidewalk adjacent to the administrative building will be renewed, as it is currently not only aesthetically unappealing but also has gaps from the building wall, which poses a risk of flooding and dampening the interior of the rooms. All investments will ensure an accessible physical environment for people with disabilities in accordance with the requirements of national legislation and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
