The project includes "Construction of a new social service building - Center for residential care for people of working age without disabilities in the residential complex "Strumsko", "Construction of a new social service building - Center for residential care for adults with permanent disabilities in need of constant medical care", "Construction of a new park area on Yuriy Gagarin Str." and "Construction of an underground/semi-excavated public parking lot on Yuriy Gagarin Str.". The main goal is to create conditions for supporting vulnerable groups in society by building a new material base for residential care that meets quality standards in the field of social services, as well as to achieve environmental sustainability and improve living conditions in the municipality by building green infrastructure and reducing harmful emissions. Part of the main project activities envisage the construction of 2 new buildings, each with a capacity of 15 people. They will meet modern requirements for design, functionality and energy efficiency and will be fully furnished and equipped in order to guarantee the necessary quality of the social services that will be provided in them - residential care for people of working age without disabilities and residential care for adults with permanent disabilities in need of constant medical care. The scope of the project also includes the construction of a new park area with public parking in one of the large residential districts in Blagoevgrad. The park will be located near the place where the construction of the new buildings is planned. The project will achieve a comprehensive improvement and development of the area. The planned activities are identified in a way that ensures the achievement of the set objectives. They are logically justified and mutually complementary, and due to the integrated nature of the investment, their implementation is expected to create high added value in both the social and environmental sectors.
