The project proposal has been developed with the aim to contribute to the implementation of the Plan for Integrated Development of Municipality of Blagoevgrad. Within its framework, it is planned to create and ensure a modern, functional, healthy, energy-efficient, and accessible educational infrastructure in Blagoevgrad. This will be achieved through the renovation, modernization, and introduction of energy efficiency measures in the building of the Ninth Primary School "Peyo Yavorov," as well as the construction of a new educational building with all the necessary classrooms, specialized classrooms, a library, administrative offices, relaxation areas, a sports hall, sports fields, and landscaping of the yard spaces. New equipment and furnishings will be supplied and installed in the newly constructed educational infrastructure. The new educational building and sports hall will be made available for use by one of the largest high schools in Blagoevgrad, with the aim of meeting the legally defined need to transition to a single-shift educational system. Ensuring a modern and functional material and technical foundation will lead to a comprehensive improvement of the educational process, contribute to the introduction of new teaching methods that will enhance and sustain students' interest, and positively affect their motivation to acquire knowledge and skills. The implementation of the planned investment will provide students from both schools with a building that offers an aesthetic, attractive, and accessible educational environment.
