The aim of the project proposal is to create aesthetic, modern, and flexible spaces in school yards that are suitable for learning and developing interests, as well as for sports, recreation, and interaction among children, students, parents, and the local community. The attractive and green spaces will encourage physical activity among children and make them feel free and closer to nature. By establishing green areas and relaxation corners, the goal is to instill a value system in the younger generation that promotes responsible behavior towards the environment and personal health, leading to the development of ecological and health culture. Additionally, bins for separate waste collection and composters will be placed in some of the school yards, ensuring commitment and a lasting habit among students for waste separation. Through the construction of interactive learning platforms for road safety, children will acquire knowledge about responsible and safe movement. The project includes a major renovation of the former Inter-School Center for Vocational and Polytechnical Training (MUTCPT), located in the central part of Blagoevgrad. The proposed activities will transform the building into a modern community center offering a variety of educational and cultural services. The project aims to create a safe and inspiring environment where young people can develop talents, acquire new skills, and participate in initiatives. The renovation will include updating the interior, modernizing installations, and creating work and learning spaces that encourage creativity and collaboration. Facilities for courses, workshops, and events that enrich the cultural life of the community are planned. This initiative will not only preserve the historical heritage of the building but will also turn it into an active center for youth development, promoting education and social engagement in Blagoevgrad.
