The project proposal "Sustainable Urban Mobility of the City of Veliko Tarnovo" is an integrated project implemented in partnership by 2 types of stakeholders: Lead Partner: Veliko Tarnovo Municipality(public authority) and Partner 1"Organization of Traffic, Parking and Garages"Ltd The project is related to the sector: Sustainable Mobility, incl. urban mobility, which is a priority for the RDP and will be implemented through 5 activities: Activity1. Construction of three multi-storey parking garages in the: "Kartala" district, "Buzludzha" district and "Shirok Tsentar"; Activity2. Delivery(purchase) of equipment for sustainable mobility electric bus and technical means for vehicle parking control; Activity 3. Ensuring functional connection and road safety through renovation of "Kozludzha" Str. and "San Stefano" Str. up to the connection with the Republican Road I-st Class I-5.; Activity4. Traffic relief by building a direct road connection: "Cherni Vrah" Str., "Kartala" district with "Varusha" district; Activity5. Organization and management and measures for visibility, transparency and communication. The project builds on the successfully implemented by the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo project "Integrated urban transport of the city of Veliko Tarnovo" under OP "Regions in Growth" 14-20. Integrated effect of the implementation of the measures: The project idea contributes to the renovation of two priority urban impact zones - "Public Works Zone" and the "Old Town" Zone, as the interconnection between the envisaged measures ensures integrity in upgrading sustainable urban mobility in Veliko Tarnovo. The project idea contributes to 3 different sectors - sustainable mobility and urban environment; green urban infrastructure and security in public spaces; road infrastructure, functional connections and road safety. The implementation of the project idea contributes to the well-being of over 100,000 residents of the territory, incl. representatives of vulnerable groups
