The aim of the project proposal is to achieve a lasting improvement in the economic, social and environmental situation on the territory of the municipality of Vidin through the introduction of measures and the implementation of activities related to ensuring accessible, secure and safe public transport. The activities planned for implementation cover the measures in the groups "Sustainable mobility, incl. urban mobility" and "Green urban infrastructure and security in public spaces", related to the purchase and delivery of new electric buses for public transport in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/1161 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 amending Directive 2009/33/EC on the promotion of clean and energy-efficient road vehicles", provision of charging stations for public transport vehicles, construction, renovation and reconstruction of transport infrastructure, incl. streets and facilities along public transport routes, as well as improvement of the surrounding areas and construction/renewal of green infrastructure.
