The project proposal envisages the appointment of one person to the position of "Social Activities Associate" in order to provide support to employees involved in the implementation of their powers under the Law on Social Services, the Law on Persons with Disabilities and the Law on Personal Assistance for the provision of more effective, efficient and quality care for the most vulnerable groups of the population of the municipality of Varbitsa. Guaranteeing equal access to social services meeting the individual needs of individuals, as well as the right of each person to support for living in a home environment and in the community and promoting an integrated approach in providing support to individuals. The municipality of Varbitsa does not have the necessary capacity to direct the social services "Personal assistance" and "Assistant support" under the Social Services Act and the Personal Assistance Act, which has an impact on the quality provision of the services. In this regard, the project will organize trainings and supervision of the personnel necessary to fulfill the obligations and responsibilities of the municipalities under the PAA/ PDA, as well as under the SSA in the part related to the referral by the municipalities for the use of social services. The following will be included in the trainings and supervisions: 1 newly hired person in the position of "Social activities employee" and 9 employees of the municipality of Varbitsa, who participate in the implementation of their powers under the SSA, PDA and PAA.
