Gabrovo Municipality applied with a project proposal "Strengthening the capacity of Gabrovo Municipality in social sphere" under measure "Strengthening the municipal capacity", which is financed by Human Resources Development Programme 2021 - 2027. The project proposal will allow the smooth and trouble-free introduction of reforms in the field of social services and will ensure the provision of effective and quality care for the vulnerable groups of the population. The project proposal envisages two new job positions. The new employees will be engaged in receiving and processing documents according to the Social Services Act, as well as directing the citizens to appropriate for them social services, based on their individual needs. Current social employees of the municipality, will also be included in the activities. It is planned to conduct two trainings, one for employees of the Municipality. The implementation of the project will increase the effectiveness of the Council on Social Services in Gabrovo Municipality. Will be carry out an external assessment of the quality of the provision of social and integrated health and social services in Gabrovo Municipality, development of an information site, as well as conducting explanatory and informational campaigns for the provision of personal assistance, social and integrated health and social services, with awareness of society at the local level. The duration of the project will be 30 months. As a result, we expect the capacity for organization and management in providing social services for vulnerable groups of municipal administration employees to increase significant.
