Under the project for "Expansion and upgrading of the system for separate collection and composting of biodegradable waste in the municipalities of the City of Dobrich, Dobrichka and Krushari", the existing composting installation will be expanded and upgraded with new technology with technology for composting in an indoor aerobic manner of the additionally collected biodegradable food and paper and cardboard household waste. The expanded and upgraded with new technology existing installation will be located on the site of the Regional Municipal Waste Landfill in the land of the village of Stozher PI No. 000056 with a total area of 217,862 m2. As a result of the implementation of the project, the existing composting installation will be upgraded with new technology, which will process separately collected biodegradable household waste (food, garden, wood and paper) from the settlements on the territory of the municipalities of the City of Dobrich, Dobrichka and Krushari and will produce high-quality compost. The necessary equipment and containers will also be provided to introduce the system for separate collection of the entire flow of household biodegradable waste in all settlements of the three municipalities and transportation of the collected waste to the composting plant.
