The project proposal envisages the implementation of activities aimed at inclusive education and educational integration in three schools and communities in Dimitrovgrad municipality. The lead partner – Dimitrovgrad Municipality and three partner schools from the municipality (with a high concentration of vulnerable groups, with a low concentration of vulnerable groups and without a concentration of vulnerable groups) will implement activities for additional work with students at risk of dropping out, ensuring an appropriate educational environment, forming an appropriate social environment through inter-school activities, measures for parental participation in the educational process and measures to overcome negative attitudes between communities based on ethnic origin and cultural identity. To prevent discrimination in educational institutions, the project envisages holding seminars for staff from the three schools for the exchange of experience and practice on the role of school educational mediation. Activities are planned to ensure a supportive educational and social environment through inter-school activities, partnership with local communities and the civil sector, additional work with students and parents in host schools, adaptation and introduction of identified good practice to achieve the goals. Activities are planned to overcome negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin and cultural identity - information campaigns aimed at preventing discrimination, an event for students from the three schools, an inter-school camp for getting to know and exchanging values between different ethnic groups. Within the framework of the project activities, it is also planned to conduct a volunteer campaign in the three schools with a common cause "We are all equal". The project also includes mobility of teachers and students from a segregated to a non-segregated host school, with a focus on socially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.
