The implementation of the current project proposal aims to build a composting plant for the region of the municipalities of Provadia, Dulgopol, Dolni chiflik and Avren. The construction of the installation will contribute to the reduction of the amount of landfilled waste at the current installation for preliminary treatment of mixed household waste and its disposal, located in the village of Ezerovo, area "Chakmak Bair", commune. Beloslav, region Varna. The proposed site of the facility is located on municipal property with an area of 36,778 sq.m. of LP with identifiers: 21912.111.868 according to the Cadastral map of the town of Dolni chiflik for the identification of RLP II-814- "waste treatment site" andRLP III-868 "waste treatment site" in quarter 146 according to the regulatory plan of the town of Dolni chiflik, commune. Dolni chiflik, reg. Varna. Currently, there is no bio-waste composting plant built or planned for construction on the territory of the municipalities of Dolni chiflik, Dulgopol, Provadia and Avren, which is why the municipalities of the region do not achieve the goals under Art. 31, para. 1, item 2 of the Waste management law. According to the morphological analyzes of the total household waste generated and deposited by the population in the territory of the municipalities of Dolni chiflik, Provadia, Dulgopol and Avren, the percentage of the amount of biodegradable waste is relatively high.
