Sustainable socio-economic growth through improved investment environment and preserved identity of the region

The project "Sustainable socio-economic growth, improved investment environment and preserved identity of the region" includes interrelated activities that will achieve high rates of sustainable economic growth based on improved investment environment, competitive industrial enterprises and year-round tourism. Activities link the labour market with the vocational and higher education. The activities will turn the area around Kazanlak Municipality, Muglizh Municipality and Pavel Banya Municipality into an attractive place for living and business, into an educational and cultural centre with opportunities and potential for young people. The project plans investments in the development of the Industrial Zone Kazanlak, which is related to the successful economic development of the municipality and the region, attracting investors and accommodating new high-tech industrial activities and Modernization and renovation of the material base and equipment of the Technical College - Kazanlak to increase the quality of the training of students and training of specialists for the needs of enterprises in the region. There are included activities related to the development of new forms of tourism, tourist attractions, the preservation and promotion of local traditions and culture and the promotion of the region as a destination for year-round tourism. The tourist sites in the tourist areas of Buzludzha, Koprinka Dam and the neighbouring municipalities of Pavel Banya and Muglizh will be developed and connected.
