The project proposal is aimed at the communities on the territory of the municipality of Karlovo and the municipality of Sevlievo. With it, we aim to improve intercultural communication in a multicultural educational environment in educational institutions with a different concentration of vulnerable groups, promoting the building of multicultural communities in educational institutions by creating a model for promoting partnership and cooperation between local authorities and the community. Activities are planned to increase the interest and retention of children in the education system, by diversifying the forms and means of effective implementation of intercultural education for the development of democratic culture and civic education, providing diverse and interesting activities for students. Creating active school communities with an emphasis on interaction with parents, for effective participation in the educational process, family support and achieving better results. Training of pedagogical and non-pedagogical specialists for a positive attitude towards diversity in all areas of human life, as well as skills and attitudes for constructive interactions in a multicultural environment, formation of tolerance and respect for others. Another main activity is raising awareness about the tolerant attitude towards marginalized groups, by conducting information campaigns. The overall goal of the project proposal is to support students and keep them in the education system by diversifying the forms and means of learning. The acquisition of knowledge about different cultural identities and the positive perception of differences and intercultural relations, building a supportive community.
