The "Future for Children in Kirkovo Municipality" project will provide prerequisites for increasing children's well-being. This will be achieved by supporting families in raising their children. The activities included in the project will stimulate greater activity in all spheres of life in order to improve the quality of the child-parent relationship, which in turn will improve the atmosphere in the family environment. Children and young people will have the opportunity for comprehensive support - from looking after young children to counseling on opportunities to improve their education, qualification, employment chances, etc. These combined policies and measures aimed at ensuring comprehensive care and protection of children, supporting families, quality education and healthcare and access to services are at the heart of the European Child Guarantee (ECG), adopted by Recommendation (EU) 2021/1004 of the Council from June 14, 2021. Through EGD, it aims to prevent and counteract social exclusion by guaranteeing the access of children in need to a set of key services, thereby also contributing to the upholding of children's rights by combating child poverty and promoting equal opportunities. A team of specialists assigned to the project within 24 months will provide various integrated health and social services for children from 0 to 18 years in need of support. These are specialists with different professional profiles: health, social and educational. They will work in the direction of prevention of child morbidity, reduction of poverty and social exclusion. Within the framework of the project, information campaigns, talks, training and supervision of the personnel, development of programs and information materials with the aim of prevention and increasing the health culture are foreseen.
