The crisis in Bulgaria has had direct negative socio-economic consequences, increasing unemployment, the prospects for a large part of households are unclear, poverty and lack of income are deepening. In the municipality, the majority of the population lives below the poverty threshold, the trend of maintaining a high level of unemployment among people from risk groups on the labor market continues, as their share in the total number of all registered unemployed remains large. The share of pensioners receiving low pensions is relatively large. The TO procedure is a continuation of the successful implementation of an operation within the 2014-2020 programming period and aims to address material deprivation by providing food and/or basic material assistance to the most needy, including children, and implementing accompanying measures that support their social inclusion. The TO support aims to provide healthy, diverse and nutritious food for lunch to people who are unable to provide such food on their own or with the help of their loved ones. The users of "TO" rely on this assistance daily and are highly dependent on it. TO for the most needy persons is provided in response to established permanent and/or urgent needs. The service also reaches more remote areas of the Krivodol municipality, where people experience even more serious difficulties in securing their livelihood. Freshly prepared hot food, in the form of soup, main course and bread and at least once a week dessert is provided to users from the entire municipality, which is complete and varied, in accordance with food safety requirements. In order to prevent waste, a developed procedure approved by the mayor of the Krivodol municipality will be followed.The delivery of catering is for 925 consumers from the eligible target groups for the period from 01.10.22 to 30.11.23 and 900 persons from the eligible target groups for the period from 01.12.23 to 31.05.25 and 850 persons from 01.06.25 to 31.12.25 inclusive.
