The project has been developed for the territory of the city of Kardzhali. Selected twelve (12) sites include properties that are either municipal public or private. These comprise inter-block spaces and green areas adjacent to street regulation lines (green dividing strips). Through the use of drawings and documents that are part of the project solution, a conceptual idea is presented for the construction/upgrade of the city's green infrastructure. The main activities of the project include the construction of alleys/paths made of concrete perforated slabs with grass joints, the installation of parking bollards, and the landscaping of the selected areas. The pavements are placed on or near existing paths created by residents for crossing the green spaces. Parking bollards are only planned for those properties where it is necessary to restrict vehicle access to the newly constructed/upgraded green areas. The selection of plant species is based on the requirements of the Program and the attached documents. Various species have been chosen, differing in morphology and physiology, to shape the spatial composition through the creation of shrub, tree, or combined tree-shrub groups, hedges, and solitary plants. All species included in the dendrological plans have, to varying degrees, the capacity to capture air pollutants on their foliage surfaces, which helps prevent secondary dust dispersion. Additionally, planting diagrams and irrigation system drawings have been provided. The planting diagrams not only indicate the specific planting locations for each species but also include details on tree anchoring methods. The irrigation system drawings illustrate the routes for drip irrigation hoses, the placement of water sources, nozzles, sprinklers, and other components of the irrigation system.
