The main objective of the project “Reclamation of cell I of landfill of Regional Waste Management Center for the municipalities - Kardzhali, Dzhebel, Kirkovo, Ardino, Krumovgrad, Chernoochene, Momchilgrad and Ivailovgrad.” is to reduce the risk of further environmental pollution and prevent health risks to the residents of the region through reclamation of closed Cell 1 of the Regional Waste Management Center. The specific goal of the project is the implementation of technical reclamation of Cell 1 of the Regional Waste Management Center– Kardzhali. The main activity of the project is related to the implementation of construction works for the technical reclamation of cell 1 of the Regional Waste Management Center, as well as its subsequent biological reclamation. Also are included activities for the preparation of analyzes and a technical investment project. According to the regulatory requirements, author's and construction supervision will be carried out during the implementation of construction works, as well as activities on organization and management of the project, visibility, transparency and communication will be carried out. As a result of the implementation of the project, cell 1 of the Regional waste Management Center-Kardjali will be closed, and 1.49 hectares of land will be rehabilitated, which will be used for green space.
