The project proposal "Care at home in Lovech municipality" will be implemented according to a procedure through direct provision of grant BG05SFPR002-2.001 "CARE AT HOME", Priority 2 "Social inclusion and equal opportunities", Program "Development of human resources" 2021-2027. The aim of the project is to provide support in a home environment for persons with disabilities and elderly people dependent on care. The possibilities for providing social and integrated health and social services in a home environment will be expanded, incl. and in the context of pandemic situations. The current project proposal will build on the activities and the results achieved under the implemented projects for the provision of "Patronage Care", financed with funds from the OP HRD 2014-2020. Within the framework of the project, activities are included in the provision of hourly mobile integrated health and social services at homes and psychological support for 274 elderly people unable to care for themselves and persons with disabilities; delivery of food, groceries and essentials, as well as providing transport for the staff providing the services to/from the individuals' homes, paying utility bills, requesting and receiving urgent administrative and household services (with user funds); providing individuals from the target group with information on prevention and prevention of health and socially significant diseases, including consultations with a nutritionist, etc. specialists as needed and providing supervision and training to employees providing hourly mobile integrated health and social services in a home environment. The activities and measures under the current project proposal are aimed at increasing the quality of life, promoting social inclusion and integrating disadvantaged groups into society.
