The main goal of the project proposal is to ensure the effective functioning of RIC-Lovech for the period 24-29. RIC-Lovech, part of the network of 27 RICs, is one of the factors that contributes to the successful implementation of the OP for the period 14-20. With the implementation of PP, the awareness achieved so far of ESIF, EFSU and OP in the eight municipalities of Lovech region will be upgraded. In the 2020 amendments to Law on Regional Development and the adopted Regulations for the Implementation of the Regional Development Plan, RIC-Lovech also supports the process of implementing the integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria, and its employees are appointed to participate in the expert composition of the Regional Development Plan and, more specifically, in their Mediation Units and Public Consultation Units. In fulfillment of the objectives of the Technical Assistance Program, the PP will build recognition among the general public of the Lovech region for the European cohesion policy, funding opportunities, as well as the results achieved on projects co-financed by EFSU and ESIF, as RICs will work to increase citizens' awareness of the objectives and results of the Partnership Agreement, increasing public trust in relation to the ESIF and EFSU management system, the way projects are implemented, a higher degree of transparency and accountability in the implementation of the Agreement, building broad public trust and supporting the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria. The project complements and upgrades on the investments made into project BG05SFOP001-4.007-0013 under OPGG. The goals concern only those related to ESIF/EFSU and are distinguished from. -the measures under ReformC4.R5: One-stop service, component No.4 Low-carbon economy of the NRRP; -measures related to Decision No.79 from 05.02.24 on the provision of information support for the programs financed by the EU.
