With the implementation of the current project proposal, the aim is to improve the quality of the atmospheric air in the territory of the Municipality of Nessebar by reducing the emissions of fine dust particles (FPC10) from domestic heating, as one of the main sources of air pollution. The project envisages the implementation of the following activities: 1. Conducting analyzes and studies, determining the target values of the indicators and developing documents necessary for the preparation of the project proposal. 2. Preparation and implementation of communication campaigns at the local level to popularize the possibilities of replacing wood and/or coal heating appliances with ecological alternatives. 3. Establishing an organization and procedures for collecting applications from representatives of the target group for the replacement of heating appliances, providing assistance to the potential final recipients of the aid in completing and submitting the required documents (including site visits to homes, consulting and filming of heat the appliance on solid fuel). 4. Dismantling of old heating devices. 5. Delivery, installation and warranty maintenance of new environmentally friendly heating devices and photovoltaic systems for own consumption. 6. Project management, visibility and communication measures, preparation of documentation for public procurement. As a result of the implementation of the measures and activities included in the project, health protection and improvement of the quality of life of the residents of the Municipality of Nessebar will be supported, working and recreation conditions will be improved for both residents and guests of the municipality, public awareness will be increased air quality issues. The project contributes to the fulfillment of the country's commitments in the sector and the achievement of goals arising from European and national legislation.
