This project proposal was developed in response to the need of the municipality of Plovdiv to improve the quality of atmospheric air by reducing emissions of FDP10 and is a natural continuation of project BG16M1OP002-5.003-0006-C01 "Measures to improve the quality of atmospheric air in the municipality Plovdiv by reducing emissions of FP10 from domestic heating", financed under the OP "Environment 2014-2020". The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of the atmospheric air in the municipality of Plovdiv by reducing the excessive levels of FDP10, and the specific objective is to implement measures to replace the old and inefficient combustion installations and solid fuel devices for domestic heating, as the main source of pollution, identified in the municipal program for KAV, with new and modernized ones. In the period for the preparation of the project proposal, a survey of the attitudes of the municipality's population for the replacement of wood and coal heating devices was carried out; market research to determine a product unit for alternative environmentally friendly heating devices. Mechanism for the income from the transfer of the replaced heating appliances, Mechanism for replacing solid fuel heating devices with ecological alternatives, Communication Plan and Activity Valuation Analysis have been prepared; the target values of the indicators have been determined. The main activities of the project are related to the dismantling of the existing appliances; delivery, installation and warranty maintenance of environmentally friendly heating devices/systems and photovoltaic systems (PVS) for own consumption. The project envisages the implementation of communication campaigns at the local level and technical support for collecting applications, tours incl. signing contracts. Project organization and management, as well as visibility, transparency and communication will be ensured throughout the project implementation period.
