The project "Improving the quality of atmospheric air on the territory of the Municipality of Ruse through the implementation of landscaping measures in the urban environment (inter-block spaces)" envisages activities that will contribute to reducing the excessive levels of fine dust particles caused by secondary dusting in general .The project aims to improve the quality of the atmospheric air, and hence the living conditions of the citizens. Integrating green measures into the urban environment and investing in plant species with the highest degree of efficiency in terms of capturing fine dust particles and purifying the air naturally will help reduce secondary dust and have a positive impact on the environment. The following activities are planned: 1. Activities necessary for the development of a project proposal - selection of sites/objects for investments and preparation of an analysis of the valuation of the activities of the project proposal. 2. Preparation of projects for the purposes of building/upgrading green infrastructure. 3. Preparation of consolidated documentation to prove climate resistance. 4. Construction and/or upgrading of green infrastructure to reduce secondary dusting in the urban environment. 5. Construction of irrigation systems. 6. Project organization and management, visibility, transparency and communication and preparation of procurement documentation. The results of the implementation of the project will be expressed in improving the air quality for 138084 residents of the municipality Ruse by reducing the emission of fine dust particles from secondary dusting. limiting parking in lawns and reducing the areas occupied by "mud patches", building an irrigation system and ensuring the climate resistance of the newly built 8.53 hectare green infrastructure. The project will contribute to the fulfillment of the country's commitments in the sector and the achievement of goals arising from EU and BG legislation in this area.
