Reconstruction, development and improvement of the physical environment and inter-block spaces in the Gradinski district, Stara Zagora

Gradinski Quarter is located in the northeastern part of the Municipality of Stara Zagora. According to data from the IPGVR from 2012, its population is 12,856 people. The quarter is extremely visited by residents and guests of the city and an attractive center for young people. In the "Gradinski" neighborhood and near it are located the "Galeria" mall, the "Cinema City" cinema , the 66 "Children's Paradise" kindergarten, the 4th primary school "Kiril Hristov", the "Lidl" store, the "Beroe" sports center, the "Zagorka" brewery, the "Zagorka", "Bedechka", and "Zelen Klin" parks.The following lines of "Trolleybus and Bus Transport" Ltd. pass through the "Gradinski" district:-Bus No. 17 and No. 20-Trolleybus No. 36To the north of the "Gradinski" district is the main road E 85, which connects the city with the city of Kazanlak and the "Shipka" pass.The measures envisaged in the project proposal are: Measure 1 - "Reconstruction, development and improvement of the physical environment" and inter-block spaces in the "Gradinski" district" Measure 2 - Construction of video surveillance in the "Gradinski" district, the city of Stara Zagora Measure 3 - Construction of 5 (five) fast charging stations for charging electric cars Measure 4 - Implementation of noise barrier-type measures The activities of reconstruction, development and improvement of the physical environment of the street network in the "Gradinski" quarter and inter-block spaces will increase the quality of the urban environment, improve public spaces in the quarter and the quality of the infrastructure. Video surveillance is planned, which will guarantee security in the quarter, as well as prevention against vandalism. The improvement of this part of the city has the potential to attract young people and families who live in other settlements in the country or have left Stara Zagora, and creates prerequisites for their motivation to stay in the city and purchase properties in the neighborhood.
