The aim of the project is to restore and improve the transport and operational qualities and bearing capacity of the pavement, in order to ensure conditions for traffic safety and good drainage of the road. “Slavyanski” Blvd. is a third-class street. The transport communication is of primary street network of the city. The street is of great importance for the passage of transit flow from the industrial zone to the “Zheleznik” district and the western exit of the city to the town of Chirpan or road II-66. This transport communication will significantly reduce traffic from the central city part and “Bulgaria” Blvd. The boulevard is of primary street network, a connection between the central city part and the “Zora” district. With the reconstruction of the boulevard, the asphalt layers and the main layers of the road structure will be completely replaced. It is planned to improve the drainage and drainage of rainwater to the storm sewer. Sidewalks will be repaired and built along the boulevard where they are missing. Given the workload of the boulevard and the intense traffic it accumulates, all pedestrian railings and restrictive systems will be replaced for the purpose of traffic safety for pedestrians and road users. In order to improve traffic safety when crossing, traffic will be organized at the adjacent intersections. It is planned to build a roundabout at Angel Kanchev Street, since at the moment the area has an increased accident rate and a prerequisite for road accidents, traffic flows are being blocked. A complete overhaul of the bridge facilities on Nikola Petkov Blvd. over the railway line, which provide an important connection to the Samara district, will be carried out. Street lighting will be repaired and built along the entire section, as well as new high-class road markings and road signs will be laid.
