Within 36 months, in the context of the implementation of the National Plan for the European Child Guarantee and the Municipal Plan for Inclusion, Equality and Participation of Roma, the Municipality of Sungulare aims to improve the quality of life of the following type of children and their parents living in the municipality: children living in an insecure environment, children of families with low income (mainly children from the Roma community) and children with disabilities, through the provision of integrated health and social services, advisory support and increasing the competences of parents. A total number of 306 children and young people will be targeted by the project. To achieve the goal, the project envisions the implementation of two types of activities: 1. Implementation of programs and activities to increase the competences of the target groups related to: preventive health care, prevention of risk behavior, better information in relation to access to health care and promotion of more responsible parenting; 2. Provision of integrated health, social and educational services on site at the Youth Center in Sungulare and mobile services in the town and villages, such as: patronage care, consultations and referrals to medical specialists, field work with children and families, to prevent the risks of poverty, social exclusion and improving children's well-being and access to rights. The project also provides for training and supervision of the teams involved in the project implementation. Key principles in the implementation of the project will be: integrated approach in the project implementation, support of community participation, strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation and transparency and awareness of the local community about the implementation of the project. The project has a total value of BGN 345,436.
