The implementation of this project proposal aims to contribute to the achievement of the overall objective of the Programme Food and/or basic material assistance, namely continuation of the successful implementation of this operation within the program period 2021-2027 and is implemented in accordance with the specific objective of the Program for dealing with material deprivation by providing food and/or basic material support to the most needy persons, including children. Within the current operation, the municipality of Haskovo plans, within 706 working days, to provide balanced and healthy nutrition to 700 persons living in the territory of the municipality of Haskovo and falling into the main target groups, definition in the application guidelines. To provide a warm meal, home deliveries will be realized through the already developed transport scheme as a result of the implementation of the activities under the previous project for provison of hot meal. Haskovo Municipality will delegate the activities of preparing hot lunches to a registered social service provider, in accordance with national legislation and a public procurement procedure under Art. 112, para. 1 and Art. 114 of the Public Procurement Act. Within the project proposal it is planned to provide accompanying measures, such as for this purpose a team of experts will be formed to provide assistance, incl. individual counseling according to the current needs of the consumers for their social inclusion.
