The project proposal aims to support Municipality of Shumen in developing quality ITIs, which envisage specific projects for subsequent financing under the RDP and the other programs included in the ITI approach, under procedure BG16FFPR003-2.003 - CONCEPTS FOR INTEGRATED TERRITORIAL INVESTMENTS (ITI) - 2. The main activities envisaged in the project are related to the provision of an external consultancy service, which includes: - Detailed review of the projects included in the MIDP and the annexes thereto, to ensure the necessary compliance with the criteria and methodology for selection and prioritization of ITIs, defined for the territory of the northeastern planning region in the country; - Identification of projects suitable for financing through the ITI tool, to be included in future ITIs, research and analysis of compliance of project ideas with the applicable strategic documents of the municipality, planned for inclusion as activities in ITI concepts; - Assessment of the contribution of project ideas of a specific municipality, planned for inclusion as activities in ITI concepts/project proposals, to the priorities and specific objectives for the development of the North Eastern planning region of Bulgaria; - Assessment of the potential of project ideas of the municipality of Shumen for inclusion in ITI concepts/project proposals, including their integrity with other project ideas in the Concept and the expected synergistic effect; - Study of the possibilities for grouping project ideas of stakeholders into integrated projects, priority for the development of the North Eastern planning region; - Assistance in compiling a list of project ideas and measures to be included in the scope of the ITI Concept. The main result of the project implementation is the preparation of one or more ITIs for application under the procedure "Support for Integrated Urban Development in 40 Urban Municipalities - 2" for the needs of the Municipality of Shumen.
