The measures under Priority 2 Waste are aiming at the waste within the field of the Waste management act (household, production and construction waste) the treatment of which is being reported for the achievement of the Bulgarian national goals according to the European and the national legislation. The type, the scope and the amount of the financial instruments is defined on the base of the ex-ante assessment including its updated version which identifies a potential for projects in the Waste sector regarding the low levels of recycling and potential for combined support (in two operations) through loans for co-financing projects financed by grants (infrastructure for management of separately collected household waste) as well as loans for recycling.
