This project aims to draw up a Radon Susceptibility Map, integrating laboratory analyses that will directly influence its definition, carrying out the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Regional Plan for Radão – Azores, acquiring and installing three stations for Environmental Monitoring of Radioactivity and promoting awareness-raising among the Azorean population about the risks associated with radon.
