Phase 2 of the Modernisation of the Meleças – Caldas da Rainha section aims to complete the works of this project, the first phase of which was co-financed by Portugal2020 (COMPETE). This operation takes place between the exit of Meleças station at km 20,320 and the north of Caldas da Rainha station at km 107,740. The main interventions will be developed over 105.42 km (including double track and variant areas).
