The project aims to transition from the current model, based on the treatment of waste collected indiscriminately, to a model based on separate collection, through its orderly disposal at a single point – in the Ecocentre – allowing the recovery and treatment of waste. The project also provides for a pilot project to implement a pay-as-you-throw (PAYT) tariff system.
