Innovative approaches to mitigate infections caused in aquaculture by Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida based on a newly identified binary toxin that is lethal to different fish species This project will study the structure and mode of action of a recently discovered toxin that is essential for the virulence of Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida, a bacterium that causes serious infections in several marine fish. This is intended to create conditions to develop effective and widely applicable preventive and therapeutic interventions to prevent the damage induced by this pathogen in aquaculture.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
