Quercus lusitanica is a dwarf oak native to Portugal with remarkable conservation interest. Our aim is to promote the intelligent restoration of endangered NO populations by integrating genomics, distribution models, landscape aesthetics and propagation under phytosanitary control, including through the use of photovoltaic parks. The species will be promoted for urban landscaping and as an iconic species of Portugal's natural heritage.
