The bacteria are in continuous struggle with the host, and where both constantly adapt. To understand the interaction between the host and the pathogen, both must be studied simultaneously. Our goal is to do just that by assessing how the Aril Hydrocarbon Receiver and Pseudomonas aeruginosa quorum sensing interact, potentially impacting infection dynamics, host defense mechanisms and therapy.
